Kris Matthewson hails from the Finger Lakes wine region of upstate New York.  He is the proprietor and winemaker at Bellwether Wine Cellars, producers of critically acclaimed single vineyard Riesling, Pinot Noir and Rose.  Kris makes wines allowing for a true expression of Finger Lakes terroir and has been called “The Rock Star of the Finger Lakes” He also makes a mean cider.
